Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Information entered in a search tool goes to the outside provider operating it. That provider processes the query and supplies results. We do not store those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained as needed to respond and maintain the correspondence. It is not shared beyond our organization unless law requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Servers and analytics may receive ordinary technical details such as IP address, browser, device and operating system, referring page, pages viewed, visit time, and approximate IP-based location.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and similar tools help measure traffic and site use. Browser controls can block or remove them, though some features may work differently. Reports generally combine activity rather than create a personal warrant record.
What We Do With This Data
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site
- Measure use and improve content
- Respond to direct messages
- Meet legal duties and prevent misuse
- Support advertising and referral relationships
No Warrant Data on File
We do not maintain, sell, or compile Cobb County warrants or personal warrant files. This site publishes routing information for the Sheriff, Magistrate Court, Superior and State Court clerks, and municipal courts. Georgia has no public statewide warrant portal. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate search boxes on content pages. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy and retention policies. Review those terms first because we do not control their systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Cobb County, courts, the Sheriff, cities, Georgia agencies, legal-aid groups, or commercial sites. The destination's policy applies after a click. Advertising providers may separately measure cross-site activity.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be processed by hosting, analytics, security, advertising, or search vendors; professional advisers; authorities when legally required; or a successor in a lawful business transfer.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards protect data under our control. No internet system is risk-free, so absolute security cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. Identified minor data will be removed when legally and technically feasible.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Georgia and federal law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Cookie choices remain available through the browser. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. ยงยง 50-18-70 through 50-18-78, governs public custodians, not private visitor data held here.
Updates to This Policy
A revised policy becomes effective when posted with a new date.
